천안시 서북구보건소 정신건강복지센터는 27일 남서울대학교에서 ‘청년 마음건강 캠페인’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 학업과 취업 준비, 대인관계 등으로 지친 청년들을 대상으로 정신건강에 대한 관심을 높이고, 고위험군을 조기에 발견해 실질적인 상담 서비스를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
센터는 학생들이 자신의 마음 상태를 살펴볼 수 있도록 우울감과 정신건강 상태를 확인하는 선별검사(PHQ-9)와 스트레스 수준 측정 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영했다.
검사 결과에 따라 전문적인 상담이 필요한 학생에게는 지속적인 관리를 받을 수 있도록 관련 서비스를 연계할 예정이다.
이와 함께 조기정신증에 대한 올바른 정보를 전달하고, 평소 고민을 적어보는 ‘온기우편함’을 운영하며 소통하는 시간을 가졌다.
이현기 서북구보건소장은 “캠페인을 계기로 청소년들이 마음건강 관리의 중요성을 인식하고, 일상 속에서 어려움을 겪을 때 언제든 지역사회의 지원체계와 도움을 쉽게 받을 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.
