[BAREUM CNB Publisher Alex Kim] - Conducted mental health screening, stress measurement, and other activities at Nam Seoul University.
The Mental Health and Welfare Center of Cheonan City announced on the 27th that it operated the 'Youth Mental Health Campaign' at Nam Seoul University.
This campaign was prepared to raise awareness of mental health among young people who are exhausted by academic studies, job preparation, interpersonal relationships, etc., and to provide practical counseling services by early detection of high-risk groups.
The Center operates various programs, including screening tests (PHQ-9) to check for depression and mental health status, and stress level assessments, to enable students to examine their own mental states.
Depending on the inspection results, related services will be linked to provide continuous care for students who need professional counseling.
Along with this, we held a time for communication by operating the 'Warm Mailbox,' which conveys correct information about early-onset schizophrenia and allows people to write down their usual concerns.
Dr. Lee Hyun-ki, Director of the Seobuk-gu Health Office, said, 'We hope that, as a result of this campaign, teenagers will recognize the importance of managing their mental health and that they will be able to easily receive support from the local community and assistance whenever they encounter difficulties in their daily lives.'
