천안시 백석동은 지난 17일 주민자치회가 ‘제8회 주민총회 및 어울림 한마당’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 주민총회와 문화교실 발표회를 한자리에서 즐길 수 있도록 마련됐으며, 주민 400여 명이 참여해 풍성한 볼거리를 즐겼다.
주민총회에서는 내년에 추진할 주민자치 사업을 선정하고, 주요 마을 의제에 대해 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
이어 열린 어울림 한마당에서는 문화교실 노래 강사의 오프닝 공연을 시작으로 백설공주 애니메이션 더빙 등 12개 프로그램 수강생들의 공연과 작품전시회 등을 선보였다.
환서중학교 댄스동아리 ‘사월’의 축하공연도 이어져 열기를 더했다. 이외에도 부대행사로 마술공연, 어린이 미술대회 수상작 전시, 포토부스 등 다채로운 볼거리가 펼쳐졌다.
자율방범대원들도 안내 봉사에 참여해 안전하고 원활한 행사 운영에 힘을 보탰다.
한우섭 주민자치회장은 “주민들의 적극적인 참여와 문화교실 수강생들의 열정 덕분에 더욱 풍성하고 의미있는 행사가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 누구나 즐겁게 참여하고 이웃과 어울릴 수 있는 다양한 기회를 마련해 주민자치 활성화에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

Cheonan City Baeksik-dong held the '8th Residents' Assembly and Gathering Festival' on the 17th, and announced it.
This event was organized to allow residents to enjoy the resident general meeting and the cultural classroom presentation at one location, and 400+ residents participated to enjoy a rich variety of activities.
At the residents' general meeting, the residents' self-governance projects to be implemented next year were selected, and time was held to discuss major village agendas.
At the subsequent Aeul-eum Handam-dang, performances began with the opening act of the cultural classroom's singing instructor, followed by student performances from 12 programs including the dubbing of the animated film 'Baeksal Gongju', and an exhibition of works.
The celebratory performance by the dance club 'Sawol' of Hwanswo Middle School further added to the excitement. In addition, various attractions such as a magic show, an exhibition of award-winning works from the children's art contest, and a photo booth were held as side events.
Volunteers from the autonomous patrol teams also participated in the guidance service, contributing to the safe and smooth operation of the event.
Han U-seop Chairman of the Resident Self-Governance Association said, 'Thanks to the active participation of residents and the enthusiasm of the students of the cultural classroom, the event became more abundant and meaningful,' and 'We will continue to work to activate resident self-governance by providing various opportunities for everyone to participate happily and get along with their neighbors.'
