천안시 북면 새마을남녀협의회는 15일 4분기 사랑의 반찬 나눔 봉사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
새마을남녀협의회는 관내 6개 마을 취약가구에 방문해 반찬을 전달하며 주민들의 건강과 안부를 살폈다.
새마을남녀협의회는 매 분기 소외된 이웃들에게 정성담은 음식을 전달하며 복지사각지대 해소를 위해 앞장서 오고 있다.
조영동·김동년 회장은 “올해의 반찬 봉사를 마무리하게 되어 아쉬운 마음이 크다”며 “소박하지만 정성스럽게 준비한 반찬을 보고 기뻐해 주신 덕분에 큰 보람을 느꼈다”고 말했다.
한철 북면장은 “한 해 동안 생업으로 바쁘신 와중에도 매 분기 빠짐없이 어려운 이웃들에게 따뜻한 손길을 내밀어 주셔서 감사드린다”고 말했다.
