천안시는 15일 재단법인 씨앗과 두정도서관 ‘내일의 어린이실 프로젝트’ 를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이날 협약식에는 장기수 천안시장과 엄윤미 재단법인 씨앗 사업기획이사가 참석해 양 기관이 보유한 역량과 자원을 바탕으로 내일의 어린이실의 안정적인 운영과 공간 및 콘텐츠의 지속적인 발전을 위해 협력하기로 했다.
비영리 민간재단인 재단법인 씨앗은 공공도서관과 협업해 새로운 공간 조성과 콘텐츠 제작 등을 지원하고 있다.
이번 협약으로 두정도서관 내일의 어린이실을 이용하는 어린이들의 경험에 대해 지속적으로 모니터링하고, 운영자 역량을 강화하기 위한 다각적인 교육을 지원할 예정이다.
시는 내일의 어린이실의 어린이 경험 중심 공간의 발전과 확산을 위해 협력할 계획이다.
장기수 천안시장은 “이번 협약은 우리 어린이들의 더 나은 내일을 만들어 가는 소중한 약속”이라며 “앞으로도 어린이가 즐겁게 머물고 다양한 경험을 통해 성장할 수 있는 도서관 공간을 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.

On this day, Jang Gi-su and Cheonan City, Vice-Chairman of the Seed Foundation Project Planning Department, attended the agreement signing ceremony, and the two institutions agreed to cooperate to ensure the stable operation of the Children's Room for the future and the continuous development of space and content based on the capabilities and resources possessed by each institution.
The non-profit private foundation, Seed Foundation, is supporting the creation of new spaces and content production in collaboration with public libraries.
Through this agreement, we plan to continuously monitor the experiences of children using the Children's Room for Tomorrow at the Twojung Library and provide diverse education to strengthen the operational capacity of the operators.
The city plans to cooperate to develop and expand children's experience-centered spaces for the Children's Room of tomorrow.
