천안시가 ‘독립기념관 단풍나무숲길 힐링축제 야간개장’을 맞아 시내버스 운행시간을 연장한다고 19일 밝혔다.
독립기념관 야간개장은 11월 15일까지 매주 금·토·일 오후 6~ 9시까지 운영된다. 이에 시는 독립기념관이 폐장하는 오후 7시 이후 미경유 하는 9개 시내버스 노선(380, 381, 382, 383, 390, 391, 392, 400, 815)에 대해 오후 10시까지 경유하도록 일시 조정했다.
축제장에서는 백범 김구선생 탄생 150주년을 기념하는 경관조명과 겨레의 탑 미디어파사드가 밤을 밝힌다.
조선총독부철거부재전시공원에서는 야간 역사해설이 진행돼 독립운동의 역사를 배우는 뜻깊은 시간을 보낼 수 있다.
시는 시내버스 야간 운행 연장으로 독립기념관을 찾는 시민과 관람객의 편의가 크게 향상될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
김태종 대중교통과장은 “많은 시민들이 아름답게 물든 단풍과 다채로운 행사를 즐길 수 있도록 시내버스 경유 시간을 조정했다”며 “여유롭게 축제를 즐기시기를 바란다”고 말했다.

At the festival grounds, the landscape lighting and the Media Pagoda of the People, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Kim Ku, will illuminate the night.
At the Joseon Governor-General Office Removal Site Memorial Park, night historical tours are being conducted, offering a meaningful opportunity to learn about the history of the independence movement.
