[BAREUM CNB Publisher Alex Kim] - By November 15, nine routes will operate every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 10 p.m.
Cheonan City announced on the 19th that it will extend the bus operating hours in the city to coincide with the 'Healing Festival Night Opening of the Independence Memorial Hall Maple Forest Path.'
The Independence Memorial Hall will operate from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until November 15. Accordingly, the city has temporarily adjusted the route of nine city bus lines (380, 381, 382, 383, 390, 391, 392, 400, 815) that pass through the Independence Memorial Hall after its closing at 7 p.m. to continue operations until 10 p.m.
At the festival grounds, the landscape lighting and the Media Pagoda of the People, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Kim Ku, will illuminate the night.
At the Joseon Governor-General Office Removal Site Memorial Park, night historical tours are being conducted, offering a meaningful opportunity to learn about the history of the independence movement.
The city expects that extending the overnight operation of city buses will greatly improve the convenience for citizens and visitors visiting the Independence Memorial Hall.
Minister Kim Tae-jong of the Cheonan City Office of Transportation said, 'We adjusted the city bus stop times to allow many citizens to enjoy the beautifully colored autumn foliage and diverse events,' and added, 'We hope you can enjoy the festival at your leisure.'
