천안시 백석동은 20일 ㈔함께하는 사랑밭 천안지부가 취약계층을 위해 100만 원 상당의 식품을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.
함께하는 사랑밭은 비영리법인으로, 지난 2019년부터 백석동 취약계층 주민들을 위해 생필품과 식품 등을 꾸준히 지원해오고 있다. 이날 전달된 후원물품도 식사 준비에 어려움을 겪는 소외계층 주민들에게 전달될 예정이다.
한미영 함께하는 사랑밭 천안지부장은 “작은 정성이지만 우리 주변의 어려운 이웃들에게 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 상생하며 지속적인 나눔 실천에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
윤석환 백석동장은 “지역주민을 위해 따뜻한 나눔을 실천해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “후원물품은 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 정성껏 전달하겠다”고 말했다.
