Cheonan Dong Junior High School (Principal Oh Eun-yeong) held a school violence prevention campaign on the morning of October 14 (Wednesday) together with the Cheonan Office of Education and Cheonan City Parents' Association. This campaign was prepared to raise students' awareness of school violence prevention and to create a school culture of respect and consideration.
This campaign included participants such as representatives from Cheonan Office of Education and Cheonan City Parent Association, Cheonan Office of Education, and Cheonan Dong Middle School principal. The participants informed students about the importance of preventing school violence and encouraged them to take action to create a safe school free from school violence.
Participants greeted the students with morning greetings, sang songs and chanted slogans to prevent school violence. In addition, they distributed band-aids with anti-school violence messages and guided students to practice attitudes of mutual respect and consideration in their daily lives.
Oh Eun-yeong said, 'Prevention of school violence begins with small practices of respecting and caring for each other,' and 'We will work with the Office of Education and parents to create a school environment where students can live safely and happily.'
Cheonan Dong Junior High School plans to continue to promote prevention education against school violence and life education, and to work with the educational community to prevent school violence and build a safe school culture.
