South Chungcheong Province Cheonan Office of Education (Education Director Cha Deok-hwan) Wee Center held the '2026 Cheonan Student Counseling Volunteer Program Learning Training' from October 16 (Friday) to 17 (Saturday) for one night and two days at Jeungpyeong Belfoire, targeting approximately 30 student counseling volunteer resources within the area.

This learning session was organized to enhance the professionalism and counseling capabilities of student counseling volunteers who help students achieve emotional stability in school settings, and to promote information sharing and communication among volunteers.

During the training period, participants engaged in professional counseling techniques and case-based training to effectively support students who need psychological and emotional support, and held a session to deeply discuss plans for supporting school sites in the second half of the year and directions for development.

Cheonan Office of Education stated, 'We express our deep gratitude to the student counseling volunteer workers who have quietly served on the frontlines for the healthy growth of students,' and added, 'Through this learning space, we expect the counseling capabilities of the volunteers to be further strengthened, leading to practical and warm counseling support on the school frontlines.'

Cheonan Office of Education Wee Center plans to continue the substantive operation of the Student Counseling Volunteer Festival through continuous training and support in the future.
