천안동중학교(교장 오은영)는 10월 14일(수) 오전, 천안교육지원청 및 천안시학부모연합회와 함께 등굣길 학교폭력 예방 캠페인을 실시했다. 이번 캠페인은 학교폭력 예방에 대한 학생들의 인식을 높이고, 존중과 배려의 학교문화를 조성하기 위해 마련됐다.
이번 캠페인에는 천안교육지원청과 천안시학부모연합회 관계자, 천안동중학교 교장 등 학교 관계자들이 참여했다. 참여자들은 등교하는 학생들에게 학교폭력 예방의 중요성을 알리고, 학교폭력 없는 안전한 학교를 만들기 위한 실천을 독려했다.
참여자들은 학생들에게 아침 인사를 건네고 학교폭력 예방 노래와 구호를 함께했다. 또한 학교폭력 예방 문구가 담긴 반창고를 나누어 주며 학생들이 일상에서 서로를 존중하고 배려하는 태도를 실천하도록 안내했다.
오은영 교장은 “학교폭력 예방은 서로를 존중하고 배려하는 작은 실천에서 시작된다”며 “교육지원청 및 학부모와 협력해 학생들이 안전하고 행복하게 생활할 수 있는 학교 환경을 조성하겠다”고 말했다.
천안동중학교는 앞으로도 학교폭력 예방교육과 생활교육을 지속적으로 추진하고, 교육공동체와 협력해 학교폭력 예방과 안전한 학교문화 조성에 힘쓸 계획이다.

This campaign was prepared to raise students' awareness of school violence prevention and to create a school culture of respect and consideration.
