[BAREUM CNB Publisher Alex Kim]  - On November 19, a special lecture on the theme 'About the Favor' was held at the Bongseo Hall of the Cheonan City Office.

Cheonan City will invite Professor Moon Hyung-bae of KAIST's Department of Future Strategy for Literature and Arts as a visiting professor to deliver a lecture at the Dongsol Academy 2026, the 4th session, at the Bongseo Hall of the Cheonan City Office on November 19.

This lecture will be conducted under the theme 'About Kindness.' In modern society where artificial intelligence (AI) technology is rapidly advancing and efficiency and convenience are emphasized, we will examine how small consideration and kindness toward others can warmly transform the world, and revisit the communal value inherent in kindness.

Professor Moon Hyung-bae, invited speaker, has previously served as a Constitutional Court Justice and Acting President of the Constitutional Court, and is currently employed as a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Future Strategy for Arts and Sciences at KAIST. Professor Moon plans to convey a message to citizens that small acts of kindness and goodwill in daily life can become further acts of benevolence, serving as a solid force supporting our society.

Online advance registration for lecture participation will be conducted through the Cheonan City integrated reservation system website from the 26th of this month until the 12th of next month. The city will accept 50 participants on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue on the day of the lecture for citizens unfamiliar with online reservations and digitally vulnerable groups.

Director Yu Jae-young of the Education and Youth Division said, "I hope this lecture becomes a time for people to reflect on their surroundings and the meaning of warm consideration amidst their busy daily lives," and added, "We will continue to expand various lifelong learning opportunities so that citizens can share their wisdom for living and grow together."
