[BAREUM CNB Publisher Alex Kim] - Gathering of national lifelong learning city officials and relevant parties... Forum and Good Policy Awards held
On the 23rd, Cheonan City opened the '3rd National Lifelong Learning City Festival' jointly with the National Lifelong Learning City Council at Cheonan Museum and began the two-day schedule.
This festival is an exchange venue where principals of lifelong learning cities and lifelong education officials from across the country gather to share policies and experiences by city.
During the event period, the 'Officials' Forum' and 'Good Policy Awards' will be held to share excellent policies from each city and seek development directions.
At the forum, Cheonan City introduced Cheonan's AI lifelong learning policy with the theme 'A city connecting daily life through learning and AI (artificial intelligence), Cheonan.'
On the second day of the event, the 24th, the '17th Cheonan City Lifetime Learning Festival' was held jointly at Cheonan Samgali Park and Cheonan Heungtaeryeongwon, featuring policy exchanges and citizen learning activities.
Since the city was designated as a Lifelong Learning City in 2007, it has expanded the foundation for all citizens to continue learning, and it will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its re-designation next year.
Director Yu Jae-young of the Education and Youth Division said, 'Where roads from across the country meet in Cheonan, now experiences and wisdom of a lifelong learning city meet,' and 'We will broaden opportunities for learning so that any citizen can learn and participate in change in daily life.'
