Cheonan City Dongnam District announced on the 16th that it operated the Taehak Mountain ecological tour program 'Invitation to the Forest'.
This program was established to alleviate employees' job-related stress and create a lively organizational atmosphere through the beautiful natural environment of Taehaksan.
Cheonan District Office employees spent this day at Taehak Mountain Forest Therapy Center checking and healing their mental state through experiences with phytoncides, nature meditation, flower tea therapy, and other activities.
It is expected that the program will enhance employee engagement and lead to improved quality of administrative services.
A staff member who participated in the program said, 'Through ecological exploration, I was able to manage my tired body and mind,' and added, 'It was a precious time to enhance emotional bonds with colleagues by meditating together in the forest.'
Mayor Lee Myung-yeol of Dongnam-gu said, 'I hope that this ecological tour will become a precious time for employees to recover their tired bodies and minds and recharge their energy by briefly stepping away from work,' and added, 'We will continue to prepare various programs for employees in the future.'
