[BAREUM CNB Publisher Alex Kim] 'Cheonan Heungtaeryeong Dance Festival 2026' was held at Cheonan Comprehensive Gymnasium and Cheonan Samgari Park on the 4th, featuring world-class street dance battles and unique dance parties in succession.
A 'International Street Dance Championship (CIDC) 1ON1 Breaking World Final' featuring 100 boys and girls from 16 countries was held at the special stage of the indoor tennis court of Cheonan Comprehensive Sports Complex.
At the main stage where the top 16 who passed the 1-on-1 battle preliminaries faced each other in a tournament, high-difficulty techniques such as the eye-catching windmill and powerful freeze were poured out, eliciting cheers from the audience.
The final winner of this competition was awarded the right to advance to the finals of the Breaking World Championships held in Taiwan in 2026 and France in 2027.
That evening, an unusual 'noise-free DJ party' that attracted attention was held at the grassy area of Cheonansamgyeongu Park in Cheonan City, without generating surrounding noise.

Audiences wearing wireless headphones danced to the trendy beats performed by DJ KALI, LiFY, and Bonggi, filling the lawn with their individual, spirited movements.
Although music could not be heard from outside, hundreds of audience members immersed themselves in the rhythm inside their headphones, collectively jumping and cheering, creating a unique scene.
In addition, at Cheonan San-gal-ri Park and Seok-keun Plaza, the 'Cheonan Ballroom Dance Grand Prix' was held amidst the dazzling melodies of five Latin dance categories, adding to the diversity of the festival.
Jang Gi-su said, "The passion of world-class street dancers and a unique party where citizens directly participate with their whole bodies came together, turning all of Cheonan City into a massive dance battle," and "We will continue to create a venue for a festival where anyone can become one through dance and enjoy themselves, regardless of borders or generations, during the remaining festival period," Cheonan City.
