- 챗GPT·제미나이 활용 문서 작성·데이터 분석 등 현업 맞춤형 실습 진행
천안시가 시 소속 공무원을 대상으로 진행한 ‘생성형 AI 업무활용 실습 교육’을 마치며 올해 총 500여 명의 AI 실무 인력을 배출했다.
천안시는 지난 9월 21일부터 10월 13일까지 진행된 하반기 교육을 끝으로 올해 상·하반기 생성형 AI 실습 교육 일정을 모두 마쳤다.
이번 하반기 교육은 직원들의 실무 적용 능력을 높이기 위해 기초과정 5회, 심화과정 5회 등 총 10회차로 운영됐다.
교육은 챗GPT와 제미나이를 활용한 행정 문서 초안 작성을 비롯해 AI 기반 홍보 콘텐츠 및 시각 자료 제작, 데이터 분석, 보고서 자동화 등 현업에서 즉각 활용할 수 있는 핵심 실습 위주로 진행됐다.
천안시는 상·하반기에 걸쳐 누적된 교육 성과를 토대로 단순 반복 업무를 줄이고, 데이터 분석과 정책 기획 등 고차원적인 행정 업무에 집중할 수 있는 스마트 행정 환경을 구축해 나갈 계획이다.
김향수 스마트정보과장은 “AI를 행정 업무의 보조 수단으로 적극 활용해 업무 효율성을 높이고자 한다”며 “축적된 실무 역량을 바탕으로 시민들에게 더욱 신속하고 지능화된 행정 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 말했다.

Cheonan City concluded its 'Generative AI Work Utilization Practical Training' targeting city employees, graduating over 500 AI practitioners this year.
Cheonan City concluded its second-half training, which ran from September 21 to October 13, thereby completing the full schedule of generative AI practical training for this year's first and second halves.
This second-half education program was conducted in a total of 10 sessions, including five basic courses and five advanced courses, to enhance employees' practical application capabilities.
Education focused primarily on core practical training immediately applicable in the field, including the creation of administrative document drafts using ChatGPT and Gemini, production of AI-based promotional content and visual materials, data analysis, and report automation.
Cheonan City plans to build a smart administrative environment that will allow it to focus on high-level administrative tasks such as data analysis and policy planning, based on the accumulated educational achievements over the first and second halves of the year, and reduce repetitive work.
Director Kim Hyang-su of the Smart Information Division stated, 'We will actively utilize AI as an auxiliary tool for administrative work to improve efficiency,' and added, 'Based on our accumulated practical expertise, we will provide citizens with more rapid and intelligent administrative services.'
